There was probably a time when you could run a high powered business meeting with ease and now it feels like you can barely finish a basic sentence without losing your train of thought. Mum brain … it happens to the best of us.
We mothers willingly sacrifice a hell of a lot for our families (sleep, brain, vagina, solo grocery shopping) but just because you are running a household, among a million other things, it doesn’t mean you have to lose yourself in the process. In case you’ve forgotten in the midst of the baby fog, we are the multi-tasking masters of the universe. In order to keep yourself sharp, you just need to be innovative and slightly organised and the most mundane tasks can be transformed into moments of growth and inspiration. We will regularly deliver you empowering Ted Talks or podcasts to listen to on the school run, commute to work, while cleaning the house, walking the dog, at the dentist/gynae/doctor, gardening or while just staring at a wall having a breather. It’s time to invest in yourself, mama.
To celebrate the arrival of this website and community, this week it seemed fitting to make the theme parenting. If you have a favourite you’d like to share please let us know. Our dream is to grow a strong, supportive community of mothers who encourage one-another to be the best version of ourselves possible.
