FAKE A GOOD NIGHT’S BEAUTY SLEEP

Any sleep, let alone beauty sleep, is merely a distant memory these days. Try these three simple beauty hacks and you can still put your best face forward … even if you’re only surviving on two hours shut eye.  

Ice Ice Baby: 

Party girl Kate Moss swears by it and models use it to combat the signs of jet-lag. And their best kept beauty secret happens to be in your freezer. Ice, ice, baby. Improve circulation and give your skin a healthy glow with an ice plunge. Simply add ice cubes to a sink of cold water and dunk your face to counteract puffiness. Alternatively, wrap an ice-cube in a thin handkerchief and rub it all over your face or even throw two spoons in the freezer and then hold them under your eyes. Too weird? Try running a cold shower for a few minutes. 

Lash Love: 

Curling your lashes instantly opens your eyes and makes you look more awake. And the good news is there’s even a lazy girls lash curling trick so you don’t even have to try remember to do it every morning. Opt for a lash lift or lash perm at the beauty salon for an eye opening curl that lasts about six weeks, no mascara necessary. A little nude or white eyeliner on the inner rim of your eye also works wonders … as do good old eye drops. 

Brighten Up: 

While you may want to cover your face in a mask of makeup, that’ll only draw attention to fine lines and make your skin appear more dull. Keep it simple and turn to lightweight, brightening products such as a rose water facial mist and an illuminator.
